NEW IMPROVED VERSION!

A large number of mothers neglect the care dedicated to their body after childbirth. The sad reality is that much more attention is focused on the baby when preparing the delivery bag than on the new mother.

Since the inauguration of the MAÏA Institute in 2020, our delivery box has continued to improve. Our team, made up of two young mothers, is tirelessly committed to finding the best products, those that will be truly beneficial during your childbirth.

We understand the unique needs of every woman during this special time, and it is with love and dedication that we offer you this precious box, designed exclusively for you.

In this extraordinary adventure that is birth, we wish you a birth full of gentleness and love. After a cesarean section, the physical recovery time is longer due to the surgery. Be patient, take good care of yourself and don't hesitate to ask for help when you need it!

GOOD TO KNOW!  Our box is valued at OVER $170 when you purchase the products separately. You therefore save time and money when preparing your suitcase!

    WHAT YOUR BOX INCLUDES:

    • 3 IN 1 colostrum collector (6):

Breast milk from the first days, called colostrum, is very rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals. It nourishes the newborn and provides it with white blood cells and antibodies that will help it defend itself against infections. Colostrum also helps in the development of the intestinal flora necessary for digestion and the expulsion of meconium. You can start collecting your colostrum from 37 weeks of pregnancy.

When you leave for the place of delivery, take everything in a cooler with ice packs, and the colostrum can be stored in the department's refrigerator or freezer. When you need it, you can defrost your colostrum at room temperature or under a stream of lukewarm water.

    • Silicone dressings for scar (6): These silicone dressings improve the look and feel of your scar by keeping it moisturized and protected. Each patch is 8cm long to cover your entire incision and is made with medical grade silicone – the #1 recommendation by dermatologists for scar reduction treatments.

Reuse each patch for up to seven days. In addition, they are waterproof. They can be worn while bathing or swimming.

    • Intimate wipes: These wipes provide a refreshing effect. They are made of organic cotton impregnated with gentle essential oils of chamomile, calendula, rose and natural plant extracts.

They are designed to gently cleanse and refresh sensitive skin, while providing hydration. They are even compostable!

Package includes 12 wipes. You can use them during your last visits to the gynecologist, during your delivery, and during your post-delivery appointments.

    • Washable nursing pads (10): Compresses Washable nursing pads are a “must” for the new mother. They are used to absorb any milk flow from the unstimulated breast during feeding. They are made from organic bamboo and the fact that they are washable makes it much more eco-friendly.

    • Disposable underwear (8): Disposable underwear is definitely a must to have on hand when it comes to underwear after a cesarean birth. Because let's face it, after giving birth, we lose a lot of blood. So why take the risk of staining your own underwear and having to scrub them to remove the stains?

It's a seamless panty, which makes it super comfortable. And trust us, postpartum, you'll definitely want to wear something comfy. They are super soft to the touch and they are breathable. These underwear are one size, since they are super stretchy.

    • Organic butter for nipples: Breastfeeding can make your nipples sore, cracked and dry. This organic butter soothes while hydrating for quick relief. Since it may end up in the baby's mouth, it is not necessary to wash it before breastfeeding. It is completely safe.
    • Lip balm: The air in the hospital can sometimes be dry. We advise you to soothe your dry lips with this balm. With its great moisturizing power, it will allow you to soften your lips.

    • Pair of sandals: We often recommend bringing comfortable sandals in your maternity suitcase.  These will make it easier for you to move around during and after birth in your room. The non-slip rubber sole will ensure comfortable wear throughout your stay. These sandals are incredibly comfortable! (Sandal model may differ depending on size).
